What are armboards?
By definition an armboard is a table accessory that is attached to your surgical table that is used to support the patient's arm during surgery. The proper choice and type of armboard you choose can make all the difference in surgery. With the correct choice surgery can be made easier but if done wrong make it complicated. Drop-Latch Armboards:
The drop-latch style armboard is the most commonly used armboard. It attaches to the surgical table simply with a drop-style lock. All you have to do is just hold the lock up, put on the top of the side rail in the desired position, lower into place, and release the lock to secure onto the side rail. The armboard itself is also easily adjusted to achieve the correct angle needed. With 21 locking increments for easy positioning, moving, and stability. It rotates 180 degrees with one finger operation. The premium quality design and mechanics allow for smooth operation and articulation even while under load.
